![]() HAVE YOU CHECKED OUT THE LATEST Episode OF NO, I KNOW PODCAST? EPISODE #40: Co-hosts Ilyana Kadushin & James Harrell pow wow with the fantastic couple, Jamie and Michael Leonhart, (PICTURED HERE ON LEFT) who are both professional musicians that have collaborated on music throughout their marriage. We chat about how creativity impacts our relationships, what are the nuances of being creative that we could all cultivate in our relationships and how vulnerability and being present come into play. Special music performances of "Estuary" from Jamie's show "Estuary" and Lythion's "Hussy". Behind the Scenes: Jamie and Michael Leonhart are not only good friends but they are musicians that James and I have performed with live in concerts and in the studio. The day of the podcast recording session, they arrived to our studio in West New York, NJ with their son Milo and as usual we start with our tea ritual. Every guest on our show is first invited to sit and share a pot of tea with us so we can relax and just chat before diving into some serious conversations! During the record we had so much fun and Jamie and Michael shared their points of view on how being creative has impacted their marriage. We did not know which song they had prepared to perform for us so it was a surprise and a lovely one! Jamie chose a song from her one-woman show (on how motherhood affected her life as an artist) called Estuary. This song is so beautiful and made me weepy as she sang (with Michael on piano) for us. The electric energy they conjured in our studio that day, felt very familiar to James and I, from our moments of performing music together. We all felt very grateful to have found someone we could share creativity and love with. I hope this episode inspires you to find a new way of connecting to the person you are in a relationship with! Let us know what you ways you are creative with your mate by leaving a comment for us. Listen now on: SPOTIFY Comments are closed.
